Knowledge, science, scientific development, and scientific progress is a blessing for humanity. But with one condition, that is, the \"right culture\". If science develops in the hands of warmongers and ruthless individuals, systems or countries, who are after gaining power and control, it is disastrous and detrimental for the whole humanity. We witness this in the case of atomic and nuclear weapons.
What is Islam\'s stance on such dangerous weapons? Does Islam allow the building and preservation of nuclear bombs and weapons?
The Leader speaks.

During his television show on Press TV, George Galloway expresses his views on Iran saying "If I was Iran, I'd get Nuclear Weapons". The comments come as Iran Meets US and Allies for Nuclear Talks in Geneva to review Iran's nuclear package. Iran has repeatedly denied they are developing nuclear weapons. Iran says it still has one month to report the Qom enrichment facility to the IAEA and that the U.S. did not "foil" anything. All of Iran's religious leaders denounce the creation of nuclear weapons, including the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic. Washington and Europe however, claim that Iran secretly has a nuclear weapons program.

[13 June 2012] Russia will confront any US - led attack on Syria Webster Tarpley - English
Israel is apparently laying the groundwork for a possible military attack on Syria by alleging that Damascus could be using chemical weapons against the Syrian people. Tel Aviv has recently expressed concern about what it calls the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Israel says the weapons could fall into the wrong hands and that they may even be used by Syria to carry out an attack against Israeli forces. The pretext is being used to justify a possible military assault on Syria even if it means triggering a broader conflict across the region. Ayoob Kara, a senior member of the Israeli Likud Party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed in an interview with Israel Radio on June 9 that the Syrian government has used "chemical weapons against men, women, and children" during the past months of unrest in the country.
Press TV talks with Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, author and historian in Washington, to further shed light on the issue.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW says Syria has met a deadline for destroying its chemical production and mixing equipment. The organization says its members in Syria have inspected 21 out of 23 chemical weapons sites across the country. The two remaining sites have not been inspected yet due to security problems. However, their chemical equipment has been transferred to other places already inspected. The chemical weapons disarmament is in line with a deal proposed by Russia to prevent a military attack by Washington on Syria. The deal stipulates that Syria dismantle its entire stockpile of chemical weapons by June 20-14.

The Islamic Republic\'s nuclear energy enrichment program has been a subject of debate for some decades now.
Yet, despite the consistent and publicly announced Islamic Republic\'s stance of considering nuclear weapons and any other weapons of mass destruction to be
religiously prohibited and sinful in Islam, the western world and their poor puppets keep bringing up nuclear weapons.
Why is it so? What does the west want? Can it be that the real purpose of the west is to deprive the Islamic Republic of Iran of their unalienable right to nuclear
energy? If so, why?
The western world is planning ahead and their sinister game\'s much deeper than you can imagine.
But don\'t worry about them, because Imam Sayyid Ali is at the helm.

Now what is this rhetoric? Think deep. Is it just another setup? How practical is it? What are the objectives behind this move? WITHOUT Nuclear Weapons mean NO Nuclear Weapons at all or does it mean that we and our allies get to keep our Nuclear Weapons and no one else gets to create even nuclear fuel and nuclear energy? I think the move is very loud and clear!!!

In the latest anti-Damascus move, an Israeli deputy minister accused Syrian forces of using chemical weapons against civilians.
Ayoob Kara claimed in an interview with Israel Radio that Israeli medics, stationed on the border between Turkey and Syria, are reporting the use of such weapons.
To shed more light on Tel Aviv's escalating rhetoric against Syria, Press TV talked with Maya Nasser, a Damascus-based political analyst.

[24 July 2012] US Israel seek to launch more wars in Mideast - English
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Tel Aviv will "have to act" to prevent a possible transfer of chemical weapons from Syria to Lebanon.
In an interview on "Fox News Sunday," Netanyahu said the need for an intervention may arise in case of the collapse of the Syrian government.
"So I think that this is something we'll have to act to stop if the need arises. And the need might arise if there's a regime collapse," the Israeli premier said.
He made the comments a few days after Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Ehud Barak made similar remarks.
Barak said that "the moment (Syrian President Bashar al-Assad) starts to fall we will conduct intelligence monitoring and will liaise with other agencies."
"Israel cannot accept a situation where advanced weapons systems are transferred from Syria to Lebanon," he said.
This is while Israel has intensified its military buildup in the occupied Golan Heights near the Syrian border.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Randy Short, with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, from Washington, to further discuss the issue.

Kaag also says the mission requires support by the international community in terms of packaging material and other logistic needs. She added that the security situation in the country has forced the mission to plan for possible contingencies. Kaag also praised the cooperation of the Syrian government, calling it constructive. The UN has set June 2014 as the deadline for the dismantlement of Syria\'s entire chemical weapons stockpile.

Meanwhile, Iran\'s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham has said that Iran will actively participate in the conference. She added that as a victim of chemical weapons used by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, Iran will be influential in the decisions made by the O-P-C-W. Iran\'s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will also make a speech at the conference on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement. The head of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons the OPCW says Israel and several other countries should join the chemical arms treaty.
Ahmed Uzum-ju received the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the Organization in Oslo. The Hague based organization was awarded the prize for its efforts to eliminate Syria\'s chemical arms arsenal. The OPCW sent experts to Syria after a sarin gas attack killed more than 1400 people in the Damascus Countryside in August. Both the government and foreign backed insurgents blamed each other for the attack. Later on, the Syrian government agreed to give up the country\'s chemical weapons arsenal to avert a US attack on Syrian soil.

1. From non-lethal aid, like nigh vision goggles and army uniforms, to a variety of small arms, as well as some more powerful weapons, such as anti-tank rockets.
- Funded by the U-S Congress, in votes behind closed doors, through the end of government fiscal year 2014, which ends on September 30: THAT MEANS FOR THE NEXT 8 MONTHS.
- Also the issue that arms may fall into the hands of \"bad terrorists\", something US experienced in Afghanistan, Iraq and in Syria.
2. What about the good terrorist/bad terrorist scenario: this differentiation just can\'t apply, especially to the terrorists inside Syria, which the US calls the moderate Syrian rebels?
3. American military aid, now with explicit congressional approval: Doesn\'t it contradict the United States\' role as a sponsor of the peace talks? Whatever happened to US Sec. of State John Kerry saying repeatedly that there is no military solution?
- Russia is working with the US to find a political solution, and suddenly US arms supplies, which contradicts the initiative
4. On terrorists: John Kerry said during opening of Geneva talks: in reference to the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad: \"The Assad regime is a magnet for terrorists. The regime\'s brutality is the source of the violent extremism in Syria today: Is the US completely turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabia\'s support for terrorists?
5. Timeline: Beg. Dec.: the US and Britain announced that they had suspended non-lethal aid: Why? Reports that their aid supplies could end up in hostile hands. Then in late December, reversed that decision: Yet US Congress \"secretly\" approved sending small arms, as well as some more powerful weapons, such as anti-tank rockets, also in Dec.: the US was not telling the truth, or given that this was done in secret, did not want it to be made public?
6. On the Syrian talks in Geneva: According to the divided opposition: the Syrian delegation has accepted the establishment of a transitional government body for the first time: Were it true, how what are the chances for the divided opposition to accept the govt. red line: Assad\'s departure?
7. Syria\'s divided opposition criticized a document presented by the Syrian govt which presented a statement of principles, calling for Syria \'s sovereignty to be respected, rejecting \"foreign interference\" and \"terrorism.\"?
8. Are we looking at u-turn from Turkey on Syria: AS we speak, PM Erodogan is in Iran holding talks with Ian\'s leader, its pres. and FM?
9. What may have happened if Iran was present?

There are entities, governments, organizations, and companies all across this world that profit and benefit from war and the murder of innocent civilians.
This global mafia of warmongers depends upon war and conflict in order to increase their financial profits.
Case in point, is when the United States of America most recently sold countless millions of U.S. dollars in weapons to Saudi Arabia, totaling up to $350 billion over 10 years.
But from among all the various questions that arise, one of the foremost is why would the American government sell so many weapons to a country that has one of the worst human rights abuse record in the world?
It seems that \'Profiting from Murder\' is a mainstay business for some in this world; regardless of who gets murdered.

On a peaceful day in front of the White House there was a group focused on US aggression of nuclear proportions.
Nearly 30 years ago William "Doubting" Thomas started the White House Anti-Nuclear Peace Vigil. He died in 2009. But since then, his supporters such as “Concepcion” who's a fixture here--have been carrying out his legacy of urging the US government to redefine its nuclear development and nuclear aggression against other countries.
Thomas' widow Ellen says more nuclear weapons don't make the population safer.
The vigil in front of the white house couldn't come at a more poignant time. With nuclear reactor failures in Japan after a massive earthquake and the us participation of strikes over Libya after a un-mandated no-fly zone, activists say the us government is headed in the wrong direction regarding nuclear development and military activity.
