Ayatollah Abdullah Fateminia gives a very short, yet incredibly profound lecture regarding the all-encompassing mercy of Allah.
Why should we run from Allah, when He is the most Oft-Forgiving?
Why should we despair of Allah\\\'s divine mercy, when He is the most Merciful?
Take a listen, do Istighfar, return towards Allah, and change your life for the better, for forever.

This is a ‘meccan’ surah.
It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (saw) that a person who recites this surah will never face bad times. The person who recites it in the Isha or Tahajjud prayers always remains pure of heart and even dies while he/she is in a pure state. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) said that a person who recites this surah properly will get a chance to meet the Holy Prophet (saw) and if he/she prays for a specific wish he/she will get InshALLAH. Reciting surah al-Muzammil a hundred times on Thursday night leads to the forgiving of a hundred major sins and procures a hundred rewards. Recitation of this surah protects one from insanity and from being a slave to people.

During times of deep trial, despair, and sadness, Muslims must seek comfort and guidance in the words of god in the Qur'an.
God reminds Muslims that all people will be tried and tested in life, and calls upon Muslims to bear these trials with patient perseverance and prayer. But believers are called to put their trust in their Lord, and not to fall into despair or hopelessness.
In the Qur'an, God has described Himself as: "The one who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed." The Holy Qur'an, (67:2)
There are many versus that guide Muslims on how to respond to difficult situations when their faith and their belief are tested such as:
Seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer. It is indeed hard except for those who are humble." (2:45)
'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)
"Be patient, for your patience is with the help of Allah." (16:127)
The killing of three Muslim men in Britain's recent unrest, revealed how a Muslim family uses these Islamic principles to overcome such a tragedy.
Looking at Britain's unrest, and the Birmingham tragedy in this edition of the show we ask the following question: How can Muslims remain calm, forgiving, but determined to defend unjustified attacks?

Sahifa Kamilah - Dua for Sunday - Urdu
O Allah! Send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.
In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful.
O Allah! Send Blessing...
O Allah! Send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.
In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful.
O Allah! Send Blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful. In the name of Allah, I do not ask for but His generosity, I do not fear but His justice, I do not count on but His words, I do not cling and hold to but His rope [love and friendship of Muhammad and Aali (children of) Muhammad]. Unto Thee I draw near, O Owner of amnesty and approval! (away) from oppression and hostility, from the ups and downs, and the chronic pains and sorrows, from the \\\"course of events (life) coming to an end\\\" before \\\"provisions\\\" (for the Hereafter) are put in order and readiness. Thee (alone) I ask for guidance unto that which is good, set right and put in order, Thee (alone) I ask for help while I make efforts to become better, and get what I want. Unto Thee (alone) I turn to for health and welfare, and its completion, together with peace and security, and its continuity. I take refuge with Thee, O Lord, from \\\"playing into the hands of\\\" trick devils. and with the help of Thy authority and power keep clear of fascism and reign of terror. Accept my prayers and fasts I had, so far, given effect to, and let my tomorrow, and that which comes after it be better than the hours and the time I am in today, let my family, friends and community look up to me, and love me dearly, and keep me safe whether I am awake or asleep, (for) Thou art Allah, the Best Guardian, and Thou art the Most Merficul!
O my Allah, today I stand before Thee free from the guilt of \\\"giving an associate to Allah\\\" or defection and desertion, and shall be in the same position day after day henceafter, and act with faithfulness and sincerity towards Thee, and pray, hopeful of getting a favourable answer, stay obedient in Thy service, looking forward to obtain just rewards. Send blessing on Muhammad Thy best creation, (who) invited (mankind) unto Thy Religion (Islam), and keep me for Thy self in honour and glory in the name of Thy Majesty and Might, which neither decline nor lose power, and protect me through Thy \\\"vision\\\" (Divination) which rest not, nor is ever inattentive, bring to fullnes and maturity every work I undertake by giving my self entirely upto Thy will and pleasure, and keep me alive (till death) under Thy amnesty, Verily Thou art Forgiving, Merciful
O Allah! Send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad

Dua Abu Hamza Thumali - Arabic with English subtitles
Abū Ḥamza al-Thumali was a prominent student of of Imam Ali Zainul Abidīn (as) , as well as a companion of Imam Jafar as Sadiq...
Abū Ḥamza al-Thumali was a prominent student of of Imam Ali Zainul Abidīn (as) , as well as a companion of Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as) . Al-Thumālī narrated this supplication from Imam Sajjad (as), and is cited by various scholars, such as Shaykh Tusi in Misbah al-Mutahajjid, Sayyid ibn Tawus in Iqbal al-A’mal, Ibrahim ibn Ali al-Kaf’ami in Al-Balad al-Amin, and Allama Majlisi in Bihar Al-Anwar. It is known to be one of the longest Dua’s and is meant to be read in the Month of Ramadan before sunrise.
This supplication is beautiful in its eloquence as it holds many spiritual teachings, such as finding the balance between hope and fear, death, and gratitude. For example, we know that as humans we are greatly flawed and bound to sin, in which we may fear that we are not worthy of mercy and forgiveness of Allah swt. This path towards wrongdoings can lead one to hopelessness, however, the Dua teaches us that we must
remember Allah swt is All Forgiving and All Merciful, and by these virtues of Allah swt that we should remain hopeful, and to not be fearful of Allah swt, but rather to be cautious and scared of our own actions.
The Dua of Abu Hamza also contains supplications for our needs and wants for this world, as well as the hereafter. It is said that if the whole of this supplication is read then the
supplications of our needs have been sufficiently covered, as this Dua mentions a variety of wishes that one may ask for. This
includes the wellbeing of our families, the whole of society, and ourselves. As this Dua is mainly recited in the month of
Ramadan, there is also the request to be amongst those who
receive the chance to perform Hajj, as it is narrated that on
Laylatul Qadr, the names of those who will be given such a chance are written. With the many needs that this Dua
addresses, Imam Sajjad (as) has also included in it the
bounties of Allah, so that we may practice gratitude and be grateful for that which Allah has blessed us with. Lastly as all of us must face death at one point or another, in this supplication, the Imam (as) prepares us for what will come after death, and reminds us to strive for the Hereafter.

At times we assume that the sins will impact only our hereafter. The punishment of sins will only be faced in the hereafter. Well that may not be it. Sins have a multidimensional impact on our lives in both the worlds.
Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei provides us with a short interpretation of the following verse of the Holy Quran.
Chapter 3 (Ale Imran), Verse 155:
“Indeed, those from among you who fled on the day when the two armies came together [in Uhud] were made to slip by Satan due to some of their lapses (sins). But Allah has pardoned them. Surely, Allah is all-Forgiving and all-Forbearing.”

1- Feel the resemblance between the “Night of Destiny” and the “Resurrection Day.”
2- Be optimistic and pray for forgiveness, our wishes, and particularly for getting close to Him.
3- Be restless to achieve closeness to God.

5- Attract God\'s Compassion by being kind to others (by forgiving and praying for them).
6- Be generous by praying for others.
7- Help those in need, and be kind to relatives.
8- Show kindness to our parents, pray for our spiritual leaders.
9- Ask for a good livelihood and the destruction of those who bring about poverty.

11- Recite supplications, which are appropriate with our mood.
12- Read some of the Qur\'an.
13- Reflect and evaluate ourselves.

18- The third “Night of Destiny” is the night to pray for the coming of Imam Mahdi (‘aj).
19- Pray for a good destiny and martyrdom in the way of God (if one wants).
20- Make a pilgrimage to Imam Husayn’s (‘a) shrine, or send your greetings to him from far. Pray for the martyrs.

This is one of the most famous supplications. Allamah Majlisi calls it the best of all supplications and remarks that it is the supplication of Khidhr (as). Ameer-ul Momineen (as) taught it to Kumayl, one of his close companions.
Recommended to be recited on every Friday eve as well as the15th of Sha’ban.
Kumayl Bin Ziyad reports: Imam Ali (as) has said, ‘Indeed this is the supplication of Prophet Khizr (as).\'
Recite it every Thursday, if not once a month or at least once a year, if not once in a lifetime. Verily it is a protection from the evil of the enemies, forgiving of sins and opening of sustenance.
Kumayl Bin Ziyad reports that Imam Ali (as) recited this Dua in Sajda on the eve of the 15th of Shaban.

That is the good news Allah gives to His servants who have faith and do righteous deeds! Say,\\\" I do not ask you any reward for it except love of] my [relatives.\\\" Whoever performs a good deed, We shall enhance for him its goodness. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-appreciative.

It is narrated by Nafe from Abdullah Bin Umar who said that, We asked The Holy Prophet of Allah about Ali Ibn Abi Talib A.S.
