Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, says the US and its regional allies have nurtured Takfiri and barbaric terrorist groups in the region to break the spirit of the anti-Israeli resistance. Today, the US, Israel, and the West have a problem, called the axis of resistance, which is embodied in Iran, Syria as well as the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine, Nasrallah said in a speech on Thursday He blamed the US for the rise of the Daesh terrorist group, saying Washington is using the Takfiri group to pursue its own agenda. Nasrallah also condemned the deadly Daesh bomb attacks that have claimed over 90 lives in the Iraqi capital Baghdad over the past 48 hours. Describing Daesh terror activities as barbaric, the Hezbollah chief said the Takfiri group takes revenge against people and carries out bombings and acts of aggression whenever it incurs losses in Syria, Iraq or Lebanon. “When Daesh faces defeat in Palmyra, it attacks Damascus. And when it loses in the eastern mountain range, it retaliates in Dahiyeh,” Lebanon, added the Hezbollah chief. Daesh takes pride in killing women and children, Nasrallah stressed. Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah said the West has problems with the movements and people who reject Israeli occupation of Palestine as well as foreign hegemony in the region. They do not want a united Islamic Ummah, he added. Nasrallah also slammed the crackdown on resistance media, saying such attempts to stifle the voice of resistance come while Daesh-linked media outlets enjoy freedom in their propaganda campaign.

Therefore, these illogical individuals do not understand that by removing Sheikh Isa Qassim they are removing obstacles from the Bahraini, enthusiastic, youth against the regime. Now, no obstacle can prevent these young enthusiasts from rising up. Ayatollah Khamenei stated: “Whenever and wherever we relied on the revolutionary spirit we progressed. Whenever we withdrew from our values and suppressed our voice, to please the imperialist powers, we remained undeveloped. Taqleed means to follow. While in Fiqh (jurisprudence), one may do Taqleed of a marja\\\' in order to understand the Islamic rulings on prayers and fasting etc. People lose faith because they do \\\"taqleed\\\" in their beliefs. This is not allowed. One cannot believe in the oneness of God, in Prophethood or in the Day of Judgment simply because they follow someone else (their parents, or scholars). Rather, such beliefs must only be arrived at through personal contemplation and reflection. One may take help from the Islamic books and scholars, but at the end of the day one must strive to truly acquire faith in Islam through finding proofs, evidences and contemplation; not through Taqleed.

A quick disclaimer; the purpose of this episode is not to say that men should not work hard and strive to earn a halal living while saying, “I’m pious, so let me marry!”. No. It is the duty of Muslim men everywhere to work. Similarly, it is an important duty for us to study and educate ourselves. The underlying message in this BISKIT is that FAITH ought to be given priority over all other things before we marry. Neither wealth, nor education, nor beauty, nor lineage, nor nationality are even remotely as important as faith. As Muslims we must remember that in front of faith, all the other things are as irrelevant as a pet cat named Mr. Tibbles!
