[08 June 2012] Syria: Annan plan or civil war - Middle East Today - English UN-Arab league peace mediator Kofi Annan has once again warned of the danger of civil war breaking out in Syria; Saying that the peace plan must be implemented as soon as possible. This comes as Syria's president Basher Assad has appointed a new prime minister and tasked him with the formation of a new government is Syria despite a continuous western pressure on hi government.
